چکیده

This work deals with the preparation and characterization of electrically conductive needle-punched non-woven composites for heat generation. Electro-conductive were prepared through in situ chemical polymerization pyrrole FeCl3 (oxidant) p-toluene sulfonic acid (dopant). A two-stage double-bath process was adopted pyrrole. The effect parameters such as fibre fineness, needle-punching density depth needle punching on a polypyrrole add-on, surface resistivity studied by employing Box-Behnken response design. It observed that fineness most influential parameter add-on. lowest coated sample (200 g/m2, punch 200 punch/cm2, 6 mm 2.78 dtex) found to be 9.32 k?/? add-on 47.93%. composite demonstrated good electrical conductivity exhibited Joule’s Due application 30 V DC power supply, temperature rose 55 ºC from room 37 ºC. Optical electron microscopy images showed PPy molecules formed uniform coating surface. FTIR studies evidenced polyester These highly practically useful fabrication heating pads therapeutic use.
